Nestled in the hills of Turkeyfoot Valley lies the Sechler Sugar Shack. A fourth generation of maple producers continues the tradition of making maple products.
For 100 percent pure and natural maple syrup products, choose the Sechler Sugar Shack, nestled in the hills of the Turkeyfoot Valley in Confluence, Pennsylvania.
As fourth generation maple producers, we stay true to the techniques of the generations before us as well as update them with the most modern technology to produce the distinctive flavors of Somerset County Maple Syrup. Everett, his wife Christine and sons Joel and Joshua carry this sweet family tradition.
We stay involved in the entire maple syrup creation process. We first lay the tubing to collect the sap in late-winter/early spring and tap all of our own maple trees. We gather and boil our sap to make it into syrup, as well filter and can the syrup for the finished product.
Browse through our inventory of products where you will find our delicious maple syrup packaged in various types and shapes of bottles, from maple leaves and fiddles to hockey players and gingerbread men. In addition, consider our other maple products such as maple-covered nuts, maple cream, cookbooks and more.
