Syrup in it solid form is made by boiling Grade A amber color or golden syrup to the crystalline stage and then pouring into rubber molds, composed of individual leaf shapes, to cool.
This candy is perishable and has a relatively short shelf life of one month if kept in a cool dry area. The refrigerator or freezer is not advised.
Choose from pound or half pound of cakes packaged in clear cellophane bags, sealed with a tape, and labeled with a gold tag. There are approximately 40 individual pieces of candy per pound of candy.
